I’ve uploaded some more photos that range from as soon as yesterday and as far away as 2 months ago. Here are some of my favorites.

All Amelia Photos
Amelia is now crawling and at a very fast clip. She is also in her clingy stage, meaning I can’t be out of her sight for a moment before she starts to pout and whine and crawl into the hallway looking for me.
She’s down for a nap and it is black and drizzly and cold out. Hi October! Thanks for visiting in the middle of summer! I thought as she got older I’d snap out of the funk and be more energized. Clean the bathroom! Make cookies! Come up with some clever crafty baby project she’s gaze at adoringly when she is older! What a great mom I’ll be!
Not so much. I’m thinking about taking a shower and packing her off with me to the bookstore. I occasionally leave the house, but rarely want to. She’s pretty well-behaved out and about. I just view everything as a time-consuming chore, even leisure activities, and await the time of night when I leave the dishes in the sink, the toys on the floor, and go to bed so I can lie awake for 2 hours and promise that I’ll get my ass in gear tomorrow.
I know other moms that have it so together. They don’t wonder what the hell the baby is putting into her mouth because you really can eat of the floors. They have play dates and coffee hours and their nails are done. They don’t have leaking water heater soaked rugs in the basement. They haven’t left clothes in the dryer for 2 days. All of their shirts are ironed.
They certainly don’t spend their quiet free time writing rambling blog posts.
