About Me

Here are some random paragraphs about me. They are all 100% true.

I am a 39 year old from the Boston suburbs and I have run this site for 13 years. I am currently living in New Jersey due to my husband’s job. I am generally cynical, sarcastic, bitter and hot tempered. I do not write about my job or my family to avoid getting backlash from either. I do not write about politics or religion for the same reason. However, I will rant and rave and carry on about these things face to face. I am white, married, and have two little daughters and no pets. I was raised Roman Catholic and only go to church for weddings and funerals. I recently changed my party affiliation from Democrat to Independent. My goal in life is to be left the hell alone.

I am fairly thin and short, but I have noticed my body is getting flabby. I am much too lazy to do anything about it and care less about my appearance than I let on. I read, cook, and hang out in pubs. I hate the winter, slow pedestrians, goat cheese, and snobs. I love the summer, driving fast, blue cheese and funny people. I like being outdoors, but not working outdoors. I wear clothes that are sometimes tighter than what I should wear. I don’t like people touching me and feel awkward hugging people hello. Kissing me on the cheek during the hug gives me a mini anxiety attack.

The purpose of this site is ever changing. It started as a small regular site, then morphed into a blog, and now I’m adding pages to it again. It’s a hobby for my general entertainment. Aren’t all websites really just that?

Heather I have had you message to me kicking around in my over stuffed e-mail box for several months now waiting for some time to reply to it. I am so sorry it has taken me to long. I just wanted you to know your comments really touched me and meant a lot to me. It’s funny how time and distance can separate a people but such commonalities as recipes and their history can draw them together. You have some pretty special pieces of writing here. I will be back to explore more when I have some extra time! XXOO

I totally kissed your check last I saw you. And most likely every time prior. And will the next time I see you.
