Flippah Songs, Entry The Second

I am adding two of my own to the Flippahhead Song List:

Jungle Love – The Time
Wild Thing – Tone-Loc

I have also considered the suggestions and I’m including the following:

Respect – Aretha Franklin
It’s Raining Men – The Weathergirls
Superfreak – Rick James
Brick House - Commodores
Tainted Love – Soft Cell

I am not including some others because, although overplayed and danced to, they are not normally danced to or even known by true Flippahheads. Meaning – a woman like Brittney Spears wouldn’t know General Public if they bit her in the ass – not that she’d mind. Boston Flippaheads tend to hang around the Purple Shamrock listening to Jim Plunkett and singing things like “Wasting away again in f*&^ing Somerville”….because, you know, that’s still clever even after the millionth time I’ve heard it.

So, keep the suggestions coming and I will compile a nifty little list for no reason besides making fun of other people.

    Don’t forget ‘Come On Eileen.’

I’ve never heard the “Margaritaville/Somerville” thing, but I already hate it. The intelligence of the frat boy is staggering.

Did I miss it, or have you inexplicably failed to mention Billy Idol’s version of “Mony Mony?” Especially the moronic “get laid, get fucked” bit. Ugh.

Heh. This frat boy thinks Mony Mony is the devil’s work.

Add that Deelite song too – ‘Groove is the Heart’ or some such thing.
